Plastic factories in Somaliland outshine others in the Industrial Expo

Hargeisa (Somaliland.com) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi officially launched the 2019 Somaliland’s Local industrial products exhibition on Wednesday.

The second day of the exhibition continued and key industrial producers showcased their products that have been produced in the country.

Tayo plastic Factory was one of the best companies that displayed their locally produced items, which were paraded at their stall in the exhibition.

The products of Tayo Plastic Factory attracted the attention of potential customers and other businesses in the event.

Abdikarim Hussein, Tayo’s General Manager narrated their manufacturing abilities and various plastic goods they manufacture.

Tayo Factory locates in the east of Hargeisa and produces all plastic stuff which was previously imported overseas…..

The manager also added that Tayo Factory recycles old plastics in Somaliland which poses a devastating impact on the environment. 

Hargeisa Plastic Factory was another one that outshined other factories that have participated in Somaliland Local Industrial Products Exhibition held in Hargeisa.

Hargeisa Plastic Factory General Manager Mr. Abdullahi Isse Taani, who attended the Exhibition on Wednesday, December 25th, presented a large number of locally produced Plastic materials which the people of Somaliland greatly needed.

The General Manager stated that only thirty-three percent of the factory’s capacity has been utilized. Mr. Taani said their products only go to the domestic market and appealed to the Government to set policies that attract foreign and neighboring customers to the local produce.

Abdilahi Isse said that Somaliland people should trust locally produced stuff country which increases the economic circulation of the country.

We have produced locally and every store in every town, you can get our plastic items. And in return Somaliland people should buy our products.
