Mogadishu, 23, October, 2018—Two members of the outlawed group Al-Shabab were captured near Afmadow town, according the Jubbaland regional administration. The two, Nur Abdi and Olad Farah were captured harming civilians during a joint operation between Somalia national army and Jubbaland soldiers.
The army and soldiers say they also captured the two carrying explosives, and investigations into their activities have begun.
Most of Jubbaland is still under the control of Al-Shabab forces, but the government and regional administrators are carrying out joint attacks to flash out the terrorists.
