Hargeisa— another new intertribal feudal war occurred near Buhoodle for blood feud. Two tribes involved in the conflict for revenge. Reports say that a young man is murdered then another the victim tribe avenged for innocent young man who killed none!
The conflict is escalating. Mediators went to the battle field and succeeded to separate the two militias but no final answer to the war has been reached.
The two tribes in conflict are Hayaag and Hagar. The effort meant to capture the first murderer is said to be weak and the victim tribe as usual avenged for their man killing innocent man in Buhoodle because the second fallen dead shared a tribe with the killer.
Revenge killings have been key cause of intertribal wars and continue to be unashamed. This centuries-old ” norm” don’t go away despite the level of knowledge of the people improved.
Ex-minister of Health, Mr Xaglotoosiye called the warring tribes to stop for being cousins, in-laws, and brotherly tribes. He emphasized anyone who dies ” will enter hell” therefore he called the conflict has to stop.
Tribal conflicts often trigger by resource scarcity and disputes over water wells and grazing lands.
What triggered the cause of the murdered man is unreported and it can be a foulmouthed or a minor quarrel.
