Darul Sunna FM Journalist Shoot Dead

Nairobi, 29, October 2018. A 26-year journalist by the name Abdulahi Mire Hashi, was shot dead on Saturday by a group of unidentified gunmen in the outskirts of Mogadishu. According to an eyewitness, the gunmen fled from the scene immediately after firing bullets on him, leaving him dead.

The deceased is said to be the director of Darul Sunna FM, a privately owned religious radio station. The Somali Union of journalists has strongly condemned the attack. Police are now hunting for his killers as they gather more information concerning the incident. So far nobody has claimed responsibility.
