Egypt is set to participate in the 11th edition of the World Governments Summit in Dubai. Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly is leading a high-level delegation to the Smmit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The 3-day summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” is scheduled to hold from February 12th to 14th in Dubai and is expected to host over 85 international and regional organizations.
According to a statement from the Egyptian Cabinet, Prime Minister Madbouly’s agenda will include meetings and discussing a wide range of issues relating to governance and development with various heads of international development institutions.
Madbouly will deliver a keynote speech, emphasizing Egypt’s ongoing efforts to strengthen diverse development sectors and bolster infrastructure to enhance the nation’s progress.
First held in 2013, the World Governments Summit has evolved into an annual event in Dubai, serving as a platform for government officials, thought leaders, business executives, and the private sector to delve into discussions on technology innovation and other critical global topics.
Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi attended the 10th edition of the summit in February 2023, where he delivered a keynote speech and engaged in bilateral meetings with several world leader.
