

Addis Ababa is gearing up to host the preparatory conference for the 4th UN Conference on Financing for Development in collaboration with the United Nations, as announced by Foreign Minister Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie.
During a meeting with Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the UN, in Addis Ababa, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie reaffirmed Ethiopia’s steadfast commitment to this endeavor.
The discussions between the two officials focused on the extensive partnership and shared priorities between Ethiopia and the UN.
They exchanged views on Sustainable Development Goals implementation, the upcoming UN Summit of the Future, and recent developments in the Horn of Africa region.
Scheduled for July 2024, the preparatory conference represents a crucial milestone in the run-up to the 4th UN International Conference on Financing for Development.
