Ethiopia in Talks with UNICEF on Country’s Humanitarian Challenges

Ethiopia’s Finance Minister, Mr. Ahmed Shide, held discussions with Mr. Edward Chaiban, UNICEF’s Deputy Executive Director for Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations. The meeting delved into Ethiopia’s prevailing development and humanitarian concerns, with a particular focus on ongoing initiatives aimed at tackling pressing challenges in the nation.

The dialogue underscored the significance of a collaborative and coordinated international response to climate-related shocks, drought, and other associated humanitarian needs in Ethiopia.
