Twelve somali immigrants were arrested in Tharaka Nithi county of Kenya for being illegally in the country.
Tharaka South OCPD Shadrack Kiprop Ruto says they were traveling from Tana River via Mwingi and then Tharaka Nithi county where they jumped off spikes at Marimanti police station barrier raising suspicion and they were later apprehended at Kamanyaki finding an exit to Nairobi.
Investigation are underway to establish their mission in the country and place of destination.
