

At least two people have been killed and three others wounded after a Suicide bomber targeted a tea shop in Baidoa town on Saturday morning- Somali police said.
The attack was aimed to assassinate Ali Wardere Dayow the governor of Bay region who escaped unharmed.

Al Shabab has claimed the responsibility for this attack.
In a separate attack in Mogadishu at least three people including a senior government officer were killed in an IED explosion.
Al Shabab attacks against government officials have intensified for the last two months.
