

Opposition leaders in Somalia have suspended the scheduled Friday protests following a meeting with Prime Minister Hussein Roble. The meeting was held on Thursday night at Decale hotel in the capital Mogadishu.
On his twitter account the Prime Minister extended his gratitude to the opposition candidates for their flexibility. He also thanked President Farmajo as well as the leaders of Galmudug, Hirshabelle and Benadir for their contribution towards finding a solution.
United Nations Mission in Somalia, UNSOM also wrote on twitter that they warmly welcome the agreement announced by the Prime Minister.
