

Dr Fatma Al-Salem, the Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the State of Kuwait, Abdoulkader Houssein Omar, on Wednesday.
During her reception of the ambassador in her office, Dr Al-Salem emphasized the importance of maintaining mutual cooperation and reciprocal meetings in order to strengthen bilateral ties across various sectors, with a particular focus on media coordination to promote personnel’s potential.
The KUNA Director General expressed his agency’s readiness to collaborate with Djibouti at multiple levels. He congratulated Dr Al-Salem on her appointment to the top post and wished the news agency continued success. He also praised the accuracy and reliability of its news coverage.
The Deputy Director General for the Editorial Department, Issam Al-Ghanem, Director of Marketing and Public Relations Issam Al-Ruwaieh, and Chairperson of the International Relations Nora Al-Nafisi were in attendance at the meeting.
For centuries, the people of Djibouti and Kuwait have shared a strong bond of friendship and mutual understanding. This bond has been further strengthened through the exchange of goods, services, and knowledge between the two nations As a result, the two countries have formed an important economic partnership that has allowed each to develop economically and socially.
