President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh of the Republic of Djibouti has pledged to support Vietnam with the hope to build stronger cooperation with the Southeast Asian nation in trade, seaport services and fishery.
President Omar Guelleh expressed support for Vietnam during a reception on Monday with Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt and Djibouti Nguyen Huy Dung.
In the meeting, while conveying high ranked gratitude’s of Vietnam’s leaders to Djibouti for its support to Vietnam at multilateral forums, the ambassador presented credentials of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
On his part, President Guelleh was hopeful that Dung will consolidate the relations between the two countries.
Prior to that ambassador Dung presented a duplicate of the qualifications to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Djibouti Mahmoud Ali Youssouf,during which the minister asserted that Djibouti, with its key area, will be a bridge for Vietnam to advance its exchange and speculation ties with African countries.
Youssouf proposed the two nations proceed its coordination and shared bolster at international associations, particularly the United Countries and the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
The minister moreover recommended the two sides before long arrange and sign vital assentions, firstly the one on visa exception for discretionary and official visa holders, sort out political discussions and trade visits.
