Somalia’s puntland state security forces said they have arrested the main suspect for the murder of two civilians in Galkayo. The security forces identified him as Mowlid Mohamud Nur known as Aano Boodhe and allegedly deliberately killed the civilians.
The regional security forces said that Mowlid’s forty days had come to an end, as he had escaped the police dragnet for some time after charges were pressed on him for engaging in illicit drug business.
Officials stated that the suspect will be arraigned in court to face prosecution in the coming days. The police asked residents to collaborate with security agencies in order to prevent future threats.
They sent a warning message to the individuals who are involved in crimes and attempt to escape from the police that they would end up at the hands of security forces.
