The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), together with the Deputy Commissioner of Security of Banadir Regional Administration, the Chief of the General Division of Banadir Police, the Karaan District Administration and the officers of the Security Branches had a joint Iftar with the Elders, Intellectuals and Teachers of Karaan District.
The Governor of Banadir held this meeting to discuss the situation of security and social affairs in the department, after many complaints from the community related to the problems they have with the bandit attack. The Governor of Banadir Region has promised to deal with the complaint from the community in Karan District as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, The Governor of Banadir Region Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) has instructed the Security Branches and Administration of Karaan District to give an immediate response to the complaint from the locals.
On the other side, The Deputy Chairman of Security of Banadir Regional Government Mohamed Ahmed Diriye (Yabooh), stated that it is important to cooperate between the community and the Security Branches to defeat Bandit attacks and against any group or individuals who pose threat against them.
The commander of the Banadir Regional Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Mahdi Omar Mu’min, sent a warning to the bandits and their parents about the attack, saying that There is a problem with parents who can’t control their children and protect them from punishment.
