Italian President H.E Sergio Mattarella arrived in Kenya’s Capital Nairobi on Monday evening for his four-day official visit. He is expected to hold a public lecture on climate change at the University of Nairobi
The Italian President was received by Kenya’s Cabinet Secretaries Alfred Mutua (Foreign Affairs), Aden Duale (Defence) and a host of senior Government officials.
According to the Foreign affairs minister Alfred Mutua, President Mattarella visit is expected to boost trade and investment opportunities between our two countries and promote the development of key sectors such as Water, Agriculture, and Tourism.
Matarella will hold bilateral talks with President Ruto and Several MoUs will also be signed.
President Mattarella’s visit follows that made in June 2022 by the then Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio.
