The Jubaland state of Somalia Security forces have said that they arrested Alshabab’s Chief of Information in Kismayo during a military operation conducted by Security forces including the intelligence.
The Regional Security Agency has released the Photo of Ugaas Adam Mohamed commonly known as DHAKALOW and said he was the mastermind of all Al Shabaab Military operations plans in the region. Though, CBA can not independently verify the confirmation of this man.
Jubaland says it took them a long time to apprehend this man after a long year of hunting. Al-Shabab has been waging attacks in Southern and Central Somalia seeking to unseat the Federal government in Mogadishu. The group still controls swathes of territory outside the cities, from where they launch attacks against government and civilian targets. It has also carried out deadly attacks in neighbouring Kenya.
