The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), in a meeting with federal government officials and ministers, were they disscussed President Hassan Sheikh’s weapons ban carrying in Mogadishu City.
Mayor Madale stated that If the gun control law comes into effect, the illegal killings will stop, saying that It is necessary the forces in charge of the security to be able to maintain it, and implement this law.
The Mayor of Mugadishu stated that he believes that if this law comes into force, many people will be saved from killing and being killed. Urging the admistration and the security officiers that the people of Mogadishu need security, hoped their promise come true and reality one day.
The governor of banadir region called on Government politicians and MPs to and enforce the weapons ban issued by Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to implement security measures amid ongoing instability. to prevent the open carrying of weapons in the city.
