The mayor of Mogadishu and Benadir region governor Omar Mohamud Mohamed popularly known as Filish has blamed Puntland and Jubbaland leaders for the failure of Mogadishu summit on elections.
He said When you enter talks with your Pre-set conditions, demands & biased expectations, it no longer becomes dialogue, discussion, consultation or mediation because your target is not a win-win outcome, but seeking a rubber stamping, & this hindered the Leadership talks.
Meanwhile, Puntland president Said Abdullahi Deni and Jubbaland leader Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madoobe said they were not aware of failed poll talks.
On Wednesday, Somalia’s minister of information Osman Abukar Dubbe accused Puntland and Jubbaland leaders for the collapse of Mogadishu conference.
The federal and federal member states have failed to reach consensus for the last six months.
Today marks two months since the term of Farmaajo as president of the Federal Republic of Somalia ended.
