The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has signed three bills which were approved by the Lower and Upper Houses of the Federal Parliament including an act that regulates the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), the electricity bill and the specific financial sanctions.
He said he wants a modern country with high standard laws, and every step taken by the government of this horn of Africa state, whether in development, security or politics, everything will be based on laws. The President also extended gratitude to the members of parliament for their endorsement and approval of these laws.
Hassan Sheikh also expressed hope that the approved laws would play great significance to the country’s development and lead better work performance to the concerned government institutions.
