The Garowe district organized a meeting for the awareness and preparation for the registration of elections in Putland state, was held in Garoowe, Nugaal Region.
The meeting was attended by more than 300 people including leaders and intellectuals of the community of Nugaal region, the governor of Garowe district Abdiqadir Mohamed Mahmoud Gedi, who spoke and opened the meeting, indicated that the purpose of this meeting is that the community of the district and the region take a clear stand on the participation and preparation of the election, awareness of public and election security measures.
The community leaders and intellectuals who spoke at the meeting noted that they are ready to urge the community to take advantage of this opportunity to register themselves.
However, At the end of the meeting, the governor of Nugaal region, who closed the meeting, gave a general directive and a joint message to the entire community of Nugaal region to get ready for the regional registration elections.
