The administration of Puntland state of Somalia has alleged President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who is now in the administrative city of the state, Garowe for showing less commitment and being not neutral to the federal member states. An allegation Hassan Sheikh’s administration has yet to speak about.
Puntland’s minister of information Mohamud Aydid Dirir who made the announcement believes the President is sidelined to specific federal member states without mentioning their names and urged the President to consider the federal system which was agreed by the federal member states of Somalia.
Mohamud Aydid Dirir recommended to the president and his administration that the government should distribute aid to the federal member states according to their needs. The remarks of the minister came at a time when President Hassan Sheikh is spending a few days in the state to have separate talks with the regional administration.
