Somali police arrest a suspect for murdering a recent female high school gratudate

Somali police forces have arrested Jeilani Aden Abadir and accused him of killing Hibo Khasim Mohamed in Elasha Biyaha, 15km South of Mogadishu. Colonel Yasin Nur Kheire, known as Yasin Ganey, the commander of the West Division Police, said that the police and locals worked together to apprehend the suspect.

According to the security officials, The victim Hibo Khasim, a recent secondary school graduate, was stabbed to death in Elasha Biyaha on Tuesday, the same day she learned from the Ministry of Education that she passed her national secondary school examination.

The police said he killed her on a day she should have been celebrating her graduation from high school where she recently received her final results from the ministry. His actions changed her happiness to sadness, the police added.
