The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held meetings with his egyptian counterpart Abdifatah El-sisi on the margins of the Arab League Summit in Algiers, Algeria.
A statement by the Villa Somalia said Hassan Sheikh held a productive meeting with Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, where the two leaders discussed the Somali governments’ priorities in fighting international terrorism and Egypt’s indispensable role in advancing regional peace and prosperity.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said in a twitter post the meeting was “fruitful” and the ongoing war against the international terrorism was among the center of their discussion.
Earlier, President Mohamud held similar talks with his Algerian counterpart, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where the two discussed various issues, including strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
