The Minister of transport and civil aviation for Somalia Fardowsa Osman Egal has held a meeting with her Ethiopian counterpart Dagmawit Moges in Addis Ababa to discuss on enhancing collaboration in the aviation sector.
The minister of transport and civil aviation for Somalia Fardawsa Osman said her trip to Ethiopia was aimed to complete aviation agreements reached by two countries in their previous meetings and expressed optimism to be successful collaboration to benefit both countries.
In the meeting, the duo also deliberated on the importance of enhancing flights and stepping up the work of the aviation agencies of the two countries. Officials from the neighboring countries had similar meetings in Mogadishu in March and April last year.
Ethiopia and Somalia also collaborate on various aspects notably the security sector which the federal government of Somalia intends to liberate remaining areas and final hideouts from Alshabab.
