The special envoy of the President of Somalia in charge of Drought Emergency, Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, has attended the World Bank and International Monetary Fund annual meeting in Washington, USA.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Amina J Mohamed, effective, positive criticisms and sensible suggestions were brought to the table, and global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness.
The African countries discussed in the meeting how to unite their voices, to influence the fateful decisions of the financial institutions of the world, and to take advantage of the new opportunities for change in the world.
