Somalia international partners have commended the ongoing consultative meeting in Dhuusamareeb where top federal government officials and regional state leaders are having face to face talks over the general elections.
The International partners of Somalia emphasized that its time Somalia political stakeholders reach a long lasting solution and encouraged them to reach a joint agreement so as to avoid further election delays.
On Wednesday, the Dhuusamareeb consultative meeting officially commenced in Galmudug with Federal and regional leaders gathering in the city for the fourth round of electoral talks.
This meeting is expected to conclude the long-running disputes which have seen elections postponed three times since October. The forum will focus on the 17-september agreement signed by the federal government and leaders of regional states.
The Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, Prime minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, Leaders from Federal member states and the governor of Benadir region are the key participants of the meeting.
