Reports indicate that Fatuma Ali Nakruma who is a well know somali singer and composer has died from Covid 19 related complications at the Martini hospital in Mogadishu.
Thousand of Somalis around the world took to social media to express their heart felt condolences to her family and friends as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Fadumo-Nakruma had a remarkable career in the Somali arts spanning more than 50 years. In 1991 during the civil war, she fled to Canada but later returned to Somalia where she died.
