Somalia National Army takes over Eel Ali Hasan Village of Gal-gadud Region from Alshabab

The Commander of the 3rd Battalion of the 27th Division Ibrahim Yusuf, and the Commander of the 4th Battalion of the 27th Division of the Somalia National Army forces said that the troops have removed many miles from the road leading to the villages where the operations are underway.

The Army reported that the Al-shabab group couldn’t resist the armed forces and the local people have vacated more than 20 positions they had in the areas under Galcad City for the Armed forces.

Meanwhile, The armed forces destroyed positions of the Al-shabab group in the water well under Budbud tourist town in Galgadud region, where the group was hiding in holes and trees. During the operation, the Al-shabab fighters allegedly planted landmines on the most busy roads used by the people of Galgadud and Middle Shabelle regions, which connect the cities of Wabxo, Budbud and Galcad.
