Somalia security agencies in Mogadishu conducted a planned operation in the Dharkenlay district of Mogadishu where they caught a woman who was accused of storing weapons and explosives in her house.
The operation came after the President of Somalia Hassan Sheekh’s decision to remove the Al-shabab members from remaining localities, while the Somalia National Security and Intelligence Agency is underway operations to search houses in the capital targeted for suspected al-shabaab members.
However, Officials of the security forces told the media that they have launched an investigation into the arrest and soon the female suspect will be brought to justice to face the charges against her as well as to prove her innocence.
Top government officials had requested locals to collaborate with the national security agencies by checking their neighborhoods and reporting to the police if they see any suspicious activities immediately.
