The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with the presidents of Galmudug and Hirshabelle states and the Union of Candidates.
The meeting discussed working together for security and stability in the capital and working to ensure that the country holds elections in accordance with the September 17th agreement.
FGS Deputy Minister of Information Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala also attended the meeting.
The meeting is to further strengthen stability in the capital following the recent violence and electoral issues.
Earlier in a swift reaction to the virulent protest by the leaders and supporters of the opposition in the country, Rooble has called for an urgent meeting to speedily put an end to the political impasse that erupted in the country from Farmajo’s term extension.
He also met with the civil society organizations and called for an urgent meeting to find a solution to the violence in Mogadishu thanked the civilians for their expression of choices.
Already, the federal state of Puntland has threatened to boycott any meeting convened by President Abdullahi Farmajo stating that he doesn’t the moral operand to bring political gladiators in the country together for negotiations.
