The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation arrived in Addis Ababa, where he is participating in the 36th session of the African Union Conference.
The conference, which will be attended by the African Heads of State and Government leaders, will discuss the reform of the African Union, the implementation of the Union’s vision for the year 2063 and dealing with the various challenges that the continent is facing, primarily violence, poverty and terrorism.
The President and his delegation will present the vision of the Federal Government of Somalia for the future of the African continent and Somalia’s efforts towards the offensives against terrorism, the achievements made in the liberation of the areas and the importance of strengthening cooperation of regional level.
The delegation of the Federal Government of Somalia, while in Addis Ababa, will hold talks with the leaders of African countries and other leaders who are attending the African Union Conference.
