Somalia President delivers keynote speech at the Closing Ceremony for training units of the SNA Forces in Uganda

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, together with his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni, Attended the Closing Ceremony for training units of the Somalia Armed Forces in Kambala city, Uganda on Sunday.

Somalia President Hassan Sheikh gave a keynote speech at the Closing Ceremony where he pointed out that the government’s first priority is to reform the National Army which is the foundation of Somalia government, to achieve a victory in the anti-Al-shabaab war.

During the Ceremony the units of the Somalia forces presented a parade for the President to show the quality of the training they received, with the aim to be at the forefront of the country’s liberation operations.

President Hassan Sheikh showed gratitude to the Ugandan government for its support to the people and the Somali government, Hassan Sheikh also thanked the United Arab Emirates government for their support and for their sponsorship for this training of units of the Somalia Armed Forces in Uganda.

The president also congratulated the units for this achievement in his speech stating that The best way they could think of the Ugandan government and UAE government is to implement what they have taught on the Anti-al shabaab war in Somalia.
