

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, In an event held at the Presidency, received diplomatic credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of Turkey, Burundi and Thailand to Somalia.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received credentials from Ibrahim Mete Yagli, the new Ambassador of Turkey to Somalia Evelyne Habonimana, the new Ambassador of Burundi, and Sassanit Tangulrat the new Ambassador of Thailand to Somalia.
The ambassadors shared with the President messages from their respective Kings and presidents, demonstrating their efforts to strengthen their relationship with the Somali government.
The President of the Republic and the Ambassadors specifically discussed strengthening diplomatic relations and the Federal Government of Somalia’s cooperation with their countries, and emphasized the importance of strengthening Somalia’s government and people’s support to build the government and develop the country.
Also, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud expressed his condolences to the people and the government of Turkey for the earthquake that happened recently in Turkey, and expressed how the people and the government of Somalia share their grief.
