Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud has on Sunday travelled to Cairo for a scheduled meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. He was received by Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maait.
The two leaders will hold a bilateral summit on Monday that deals with all issues of concern to the two countries at the bilateral level as well as regional and international topics.
Since he was elected President on May 15, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has travelled abroad seven times. He has visited the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Eritrea, Kenya , Tanzania, Djibouti and now Egypt.
