Somalia Prime minister Mohamed Hussein Rooble has opposed the President’s decision to suspend him from office and maintains implementing his duties. Rooble said that President Farmajo attempted to “Military” take over the office of the Prime minister and he will be held responsible for ‘consequences.’
The office of the Prime minister stated that the Prime minister is fully committed to fulfilling his national responsibility to conduct an acceptable electoral process that culminates in a peaceful transition of power.
The office of the Prime minister identifies Farmajo as a “former” President and wants to incite political crises in Somalia. On Sunday, the Prime minister clarified that no particular candidate will be permitted to have influence on the ongoing elections while referring to President Farmajo.
While Farmaajo believes Roble had deviated from the rules of the electoral process, he tore apart the mandate of the electoral commissions and violated their independence and accusation the Prime minister denied.
