

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic Government of Somalia Hamse Abdi Barre, received in his office a delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund, led by the Regional Director for East and Southern Africa of UNICEF, Mohamed Fall.
The Prime Minister and the UNICEF delegation discussed important issues regarding the charitable activities of the organization and the promotion of humanitarian aid and support provided by the organization to the people, especially Somali children.
The director stated that the agency is committed to strengthening the cooperation relationship it has with the Somali government, in order to improve the safety and health of Somali children, and to support them in adapting to climate change and its effects on Somalia.
Prime Minister Hamse thanked UNICEF officials for the humanitarian support that the organization provides to the care of Somali children, urging them to increase their efforts towards finding a lasting solution to the existing problems.
