Mohamed Hussein Rooble, the Prime minister of Somalia has visited some of the youths who were wounded on Tuesday in a terrorist attack, that occurred at the entrance of Gen. Dhagabadan military training camp in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow for the killing of Somalia’s future leaders by what he described as terrorist groups. During his visit at a hospital in Mogadishu, he noted that this is the right time for Somali people to unite against Alshabab.
The Prime minister also advised the general public to give support to the security agencies to prevent future terrorist attacks. He also emphasised that the federal government is committed to take responsibility for their medical treatment.
At least 20 people including army recruits were killed on Tuesday morning in a suicide bombing, that targeted recruits who were lined up outside the army camp. Al-Shabaab’s radio Al-Andalus said the group carried out the attack.
Al-Shabab, which aims to topple Somalia’s government and impose its own interpretation of Islamic law, were driven out of Mogadishu by Somalia troops, backed by African Union soldiers.
