

The Ministry of Security for Somalia has invited a meeting to discuss security reinforcement and implementation of the Arms Control Act in Mogadishu ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations marking the end of the Ramadan.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Somalia Police Force and was attended by various officials, including the governor of the Banadir region, the police chief, the director of NISA, the chairman of the military court, and other officials.
During the meeting, reports were presented by the district commanders of the police, security, and police military. The officials prioritized the significance of leveling up the security to secure the safety of the people during the eid celebrations.
The heads of the security agencies and the administration of Banadir region agreed to speed up the security measures in Mogadishu, particularly in preparation for Eid al-Fitr, which is only a few days away.
