The State Minister of Foreign Affairs of federal republic of Somalia Ali Mahamed Omar (Balcad) who is in Saudi Arabia on an official invitation has paid a visit to the Somali Consulate in Jeddah and the Permanent Representatives of Somalia to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation headquarter.
The State Minister held a meeting with the Permanent Representative to OIC Dr.Ibrahim Adan Musa, Deputy Permanent Representative Abdirahim Osman Ilmi and the First secretary Mahamud Omar Jawle.
During the meeting, both sides asserted the importance of the OIC-Somalia relations, and the Permanent Representative reiterated the OIC’s support for Somalia.
Recently, The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Ibrahim Taha strongly condemned the bomb-laden vehicles Al-shabab attack in Mahas, Hiran region of Central Somalia killing several people and offered his condolences to the Government and people of Somalia and also wished the injured quick recovery.
On the Other side , Ali Mahamed Omar also visited the Somali Consulate where he was warmly welcomed by general cons. Ahmed Mahamoud Diriye, Vice Consul Yusuf Salan Hasan and other officials of the consulate to supervise the different departments of the consulate and also discussed the service and the needs of Somali citizens living abroad.
