

The President of Jubaland has appointed a new commander for the forces of the administration, made changes in the administration of the Lower Juba state.
In a Presidential Decree issued issued by the office of the president Ahmed Mahamed Islam (Madowba) appointed new officials for armed forces and regional administrations. The President Ahmed Mahamed Islam (Madowba) appointed brigadier general Ismail Sahardid Keyse as the Commander-in-Chief of the Juba Land Darawish Forces and also appointed brigadier general Abdullahi Abdi Yusuf as the Police Chief of Juba land state.
Ahmed Mahamed (Madowba) selected Hasan Abdi Gure as the Governor of Lower Juba Region and Muse Mahamed Sheikh as the Deputy Governor of Lower Juba Region.
The president Ahmed Mahamed (Madowba) also appointed Ahmed Afey Abdi as The Deputy Governor of Administration and Finance of kismayo region, while Abdi Awil Hasan has been appointed as Deputy Governor of the local government affairs of kismayo region, and Najib Bare Salaad as the The Deputy Governor of social affairs of kismayo region.
According to the Presidential decree, Ali Adan Ali will serve as the Chairman of the Immigration and Refugee board and Mahamed Nur Khadar as the Deputy Chairperson of the Immigration and Refugee board.
Madobe’s reshuffle coincides with yesterday’s declaration of war against Al-Shabaab by the president and displaying troops which he said are heading towards the areas that al-Shabaab has in the state.
