Somalia’s Special Envoy for Somaliland Affairs held meeting with some of leaders of Somalia civil Society Organizations

The special envoy of the President of the federal Republic of Somalia for Somaliland Affairs Abdikarim Hussein Guled, held a meeting with some leaders of the somali civil society organizations to strenghten the efforts towards the dialogue between Somalia and Somaliland.

This consultative meeting was focused on how to strengthen the dialogue, and the role of the Somali Civil Society  in the efforts towards the Somalia -Somaliland dialogue. Some of the representatives of civil society organizations that participated in the meeting made very important recommendations and showed that they are ready to work with the Special Envoy Office and contribute to strengthening the negotiations in Somaliland.

The Special Envoy and the delegation showed gratitude to the participants for the good advice and ideas they shared, and pointed out that the assistance of the civil society in the Somaliland talks is very important, and they plan to take a leadership role leading to the integration dialogue of the Somaliland.
