

Somaliland National Electoral commission has finally announced the date when eligible voters will pick their voter cards in the remaining regions including Maroodijeh, Togdheer and Awdal. The process will start officially on 31 March.
During the process, People who were registered in the recently concluded voter registration process and those registered in 2016 and didn’t obtain voter cards will be eligible to pick their voter cards.
The Electoral commission is expected to send all the required equipment and staff to the three remaining regions of the country to conduct the voter registration distribution process.
It was just recently when the National Electoral commission concluded the voter registration distribution in Sahil, Sool and Sanaag regions where thousands had picked their voter cards. The parliamentary and local council elections are expected to take place on 31 May of this year.
