

The president of somalia Hasan Sheikh Mohamud inspected the port of Mogadishu, emphasizing the importance of accelerating the port’s effectiveness to increase government revenue. He visited the various parts of the port that serve the Somali people, and instructed the operators to the public in good faith by observing the government’s rules, and facilitating the services related to the port.
The president told the workers to increase their level of services in order for the nation to have better production. President Hassan Sheikh, who pointed out the key role Mogadishu’s port plays for the government, has urged the operators to speed up the work to increase the income revenue.
Meanwhile, The minister of ports of Somalia Abdullahi Ahmed Jamac, the deputy minister Sadam Mohamoud and the port Manager briefed the president about the ongoing progress of the port’s work and the plan they want to implement to improve the port’s operations.
