A car accident was reported on Thursday morning at Kaaran district of Mogadishu that caused the death of several people and wounded others as the authorities have not yet established the cause of the accident.
Initial reports say, at least two people were confirmed dead and another person wounded after a rickshaw was run over by a lorry truck in Kaaraan district. Witnesses told the media that the wounded person is in critical condition and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Residents also reported that the lorry truck driver was over speed and lost control of the vehicle and suddenly ran over the rickshaw. However, various car accidents that resulted in many deaths and injuries were reported for the last few months in the capital.
