The Galmudug State leader Ahmed Abdi Qoor-Qoor and the former Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud have met in Mogadishu over the upcoming elections scheduled to hold this year.
Ahmed Abdi Karriye (Qoor-Qoor), the Galmudug state leader, and the former Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud have held talks in Mogadishu over the country’s upcoming elections.
The two leaders discussed the controversial Galmudug’s representatives in the federal electoral commission. Though it’s not yet clear if anything has been agreed.
Galmudug state leader has been playing a great role in recent times for bringing the Federal government and its member states closer together. Somalia is expected to hold parliamentary elections in this year followed by the presidential election.
