Hawa Adan A Savior And Save Haven by The Injured Somalis Died

obituary mourning for the late Hawa, may Allah reward for her good deeds, amen.

Mogadishu– Hawa Adan, a doctor, and philanthropist who just not built a hospital for the people of Mogadishu in war zone and left alone but she dedicated herself to work in it to save lives in one of the most dangerous places on earth. What made her work catch the attention of the developed countries and the rest of the world was that she lived in one of the safest country on the planet, a Canada and yet she decided to take life-threatening decision to travel Somalia under the grip of the worst savages and brutes: pirates, warlords and terrorists competing to kill off their flesh and blood.

Hawa Adan unlike many of her peers who chose to watch afar the tragedies tearing Somalia apart, refused to follow suit instead she landed in Wardhiiglay, the bloodbath and the killing fields of Mogadishu to save what or whom could be saved. Millions of Somalis remember her as “different from every else” a heroine of the highest integrity and humanity, in fact she wasn’t different from them in terms of faith and ethnicity but her mindset was in-built of compassion, sympathy, and altruism. If examined, doctors may find her DNA was of extending hand and passion. She saw her Somalis of all walks of life from religious to secular, traditional spending their lives on death and destruction. She didn’t chose the path to graveyards and burials of mass murders of children and newborn babies. In her field and skill, she was unique and alone in a society which are good at making troubles.

Sitting her cozy, comfortable apartment in Canada, she faced a dilemma: would you watch and post nonsensical pity into social media like they do and and say amen to the potential victims who are alive today and not sure if they can be alive tomorrow. Would you die with a heavy heart of guilt by feeling abandoning your people when they needed you the most? Or would you foray into the inferno like insane fire fighter to save those stranded at the fire? She chose the latter. Being of the Mother Teresa of Somalis, Hawa was a likable person for being applying Mother Teresa ‘s wisdom ” If you want to change the world, go home and love your family”. Hawa May God reward her a heaven, had literally practiced that adage and left a great legacy.
