

President Omar Gelle of Djibouti arrived in Mogadishu this morning and received by his counterpart President Mohamed Farmaajo.
The Djiboutian leader is expected to lay the foundation stone for the construction of new Djibouti embassy in Abdi Aziz district in Mogadishu. He will also visit his troops serving under AMISOM in Beletweyne.
Security has been beefed up in the Mogadishu with major city roads closed.
The two leaders will also hold bilateral talks. Djibouti has been conspicuously missing in the newly minted Horn of Africa Club which features Somalia, Eritrea
Djibouti is one of five East African countries who contributed troops to the AU’s mission in Somalia, who are battling Al-Shabaab for ten years.
