Sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed who is a former president of Somalia and is also running for Presidency in the forthcoming elections has ignored having a bilateral meeting with the Qatari delegation led by Ahmed AL Qahtani, the special envoy of Qatar foreign affairs ministry.
The Qatari delegation and the council of opposition presidential candidates of Somalia held bilateral meetings in Mogadishu where they discussed on finding lasting solutions to the current political stalemate in the country.
Al Qahtani and the council agreed on the significance of resolving the political disagreements between the federal government, member states and the opposition presidential candidates.
Meanwhile, the delegation also met with the Speaker of the upper house Mohamed Hashi. The delegation who arrived in Mogadishu on Friday had previously held a meeting with the Prime minister.
