A fire broke out in Istanbul refugee and IPD camp in the East of Hargeisa; this fire’s cause still unknown but this time is so windy and tiny particles of fire can easily inflame and spread. So far, no human casualties however, 200 makeshift shelters burned down.
Last year, the camp caught a fire and several people died of fire.
The camp is full of IDPS and refugees who built small cottages of cartons and plastics. These flammable materials increase the chance of fire breaking out. So far no humanitarian aid to families who lost their shelter in fire.
