Following the conclusion of the closed-door meeting, Minister Sa’ad Ali Shire and Public Accounts Committee Chairman Mustafe Khayreeye jointly briefed the media, confirming that their deliberations centered on the prevailing economic conditions of the country.
During the session, Minister Shire responded to queries from committee members, providing detailed insights and clarifications as outlined in his briefing.

Last month, Minister Shire emphasized the substantial challenges encountered by Somaliland’s commerce sector, notably due to a recent devastating fire that engulfed Wajale’s primary market, a vital catalyst for the nation’s economic advancement.
